Groovy

Um, Im just gonna say its good overall. However, why are you not going to use garageband anymore? I don't see why its such a bad program? Except for the drums samples.

And I am going to tell you a way to improve an instrument! HAH. With the kickdrum, if you duplicate the midi info into a hip-hop bass, it helps fill it out more. But, like you said, you're not using Garageband anymore. But whatever, its cool as always!
Now I have to check out the Picco conest.

Great work!

Quarl responds:

Thanks man. If I really wanted, I could have used garage bands preset hip hop drum kit. It has a nice sub sound attached to the kick, but I really didn't feel like adding any more bass to the intro. Also, I'm not using garage band anymore because I've upgraded to reason.

Trippadellec

Have you ever heard shoenburg?
Killer chromaticism. Still, wouldn't call it jazz, but i'm not the composer. Crazy trickery. Taking the 80s esque beats and adding that crazy ass solo. Would love to here it live. You should publish it!

SolusLunes responds:

I DO NOT KNOW HOW TO CLASSIFY THIS SONG :(

Will publish once For Schala gets done ;D

Musical Add

is what I prescribe this piece with. I think most people's problem with it is that it doesn't expand on any of its ideas very much. Its not traditional trance (not a bad thing).

eXTasCie responds:

Thanks for you prescription :D, I'll send a new version of the song, one that will be more musical

Very Weird, but pretty cool!

I dunno who decided to give it a zero, but this piece is sweet. A little polka ish, a little techno-ish, and very noncongruent. I'd like to know why you fade in and out inbetween themes. Is it random, or does it actually serve a purpose to the piece?
Inovative!

Pandoryk responds:

Thank you very much. To answer I tried something with all these fades, I tried to create kind of unexpected feeling, I had one objective while I was doing this stuff : to surprise! ^^ Success? Failure? I dunno! But I chose the places of every fades.

What is annoying is that some people (a lot I guess) vote, before all, to say if they like it or not, so I don't expect a big mark :P but heh, maybe some people (like you) can appreciate it, and just for that, I'm glad! ^^
Thx for the review!

Awsome

and hilarious. If this is really you, which I hope it is. Very Vagner-esque.

Bezo responds:

This was indeed really me. I'm much better now.

And when you thought it was gonna be a lame techno

Hilarious. It starts out nice and serene and then builds into a non boom-chic beat song. It has a non repetive melody! I love it. However, I don't think it could hurt to fill it out a little bit. Wonderful harmonies!

Kid2Will responds:

Yeah I prolly coulda spent another week trying to make this song better, but o well. I whats missing that i need to fill out. give examples. Thanks for the review!

Not a reggae, but very cool!

YAY! Something really original. Just wondering, however, why is it called a reggae? I like the beat you set, and I wonder if you went into the clip and cut it up or ran it through an effect. I really like your eclectic techoeque' melody, becaus I can't quite get a handle of it.
Very cool!

zcult responds:

Yeah, man. Note taken, not reggae. The bobbing rhythm of the first instrument is so easy going it reminds me a bit of a caribean beat. It's nice and laid back. Reggae is just the title. I assigned the genre as techno.

It took a bit of development but it was fairly easy. I used Reason 3.0

grr. i hate these
